Seapower Marine recently completed a workshop run and inspection of the latest MDCT Cummins Onan marine generator, one of the newest additions to the Cummins Onan commercial generator range.

The MDCT series represents the next generation of high-output marine generator systems, replacing the previous MDD models that were based on a John Deere engine platform. The new design brings the generator firmly back into the Cummins ecosystem by utilising the proven Cummins B4.5 four-cylinder marine engine as its prime mover.
